Verb without –s/-es in Simple Present Tense when Subject
is Third Person Singular
Simple
Present Tense –এ Subject যদি Third Person Singular (he, she, boy, girl, Ram,
Rahim etc) হয় তবে verb –এর শেষে –s বা –es যুক্ত হয়।
উদাহরণঃ
1. The child weeps.
2. He loves his friends.
3. The sun rises in the east.
4. Rina takes the bus to school everyday.
5. She dares to go very early.
6. He dares to challenge me.
7. Everybody
needs to rest
sometimes.
1. যদি Third Person Singular পরে
dare not/need not বসে তবে dare/need এর পরে –s
যুক্ত হয় না বা
dares not/needs not হয় না।

2. আবার কোন বাক্য তীব্র ইচ্ছা, অভিলাষ অথবা আশীর্বাদ সূচক হলে Subject
Third Person Singular হলেও verb
–এর শেষে –s বা –es যুক্ত হয় না।

3. যদি দুটি Third Person
Singular subject ‘and’ দ্বারা যুক্ত হয়ে থাকে তবে verb
–এর শেষে –s বা –es যুক্ত হয় না।

Note: কিন্তু যদি subject গুলি মিলিত হয়ে একি বস্তুর মতো মনে হয় তবে verb
–এর শেষে –s বা –es যুক্ত হয়।
